Cowes Week

If you own a boat competing in Cowes week then please enter here. If you have any issues using My PSC then email sailingsec@portsmouthsc.co.uk with the following information - Your Name / Boat Name / Sail Number / Class. After the week is completed the results will be collated and the trophy will be awarded to the best performing boat over the week.

Don't worry though if you don't own your own boat, the Club will also be awarding a trophy "Cowes Week Crews Trophy" to the club member that performs the best during the week on any boat that isn't owned by a club member. Once again please enter by logging into My PSC and using the booking tab. If you have any issues using My PSC then email sailingsec@portsmouthsc.co.uk with the following information - Your Name / Boat Name / Sail Number / Class.

The small print:

*Handicapping is not the easiest of things especially when taking in account many different classes of boats that take part in Cowes Week, so please be patient and we will get the results out as soon as possible. We may use IRC, NHC base numbers or any other system to determine the winner.

*If you crew on a club member owned boat then you will not be eligible to win the crews trophy.

*If more than one club member is on the boat that wins the "Cowes Week Crews Trophy", then the trophy will be awarded jointly to all PSC members on board.

*The trophies once awarded will have your name and boat engraved on them and live in the PSC trophy cabinet.

*All members (include affiliated members) are eligible to win

*Crew must be present on more than half the races that a boat starts to be eligible for the crews trophy.

The closing time and date for entries is 23:59 10th August 2018. No late entries will be considered under any circumstances.
