Colin King analyses the factors leading up to the mutiny of the naval ships off Spithead in 1797, the mutiny itself, eventual conclusion and aftermath. Having spent over thirty years in the Royal Navy, Colin now indulges his passion for history as a member of the Visitor Experience team at the National Museum of the Royal Navy and is currently awaiting the result of his MA in Naval History from the University of Portsmouth.
