Contessa 32 Weekend
PSC hosted the Contessa 32 fleet for the first event of their 2017 race series over the weekend of 13/14 May. The club ran two races on the Saturday, provided a class meal in the JA Room on Saturday evening and a further race on Sunday. It was an exceptionally successful weekend; the weather was kind, the racing competitive and fun, and the food and hospitality that PSC members provided on Saturday evening was

Parhelion Spring 2017 Series Complete
The final two races of the Spring 2017 series were completed (on Sat 22 Apr) in beautiful sunny conditions with a steady 12 kts from the North East. Race officer Ricky Hodgson set two courses that kept the fleets busy in the triangle between Gilkicker and the Spit Sand Fort, however the highlight (for some!) was the downwind start for the final race.

Spring Parhelion Sat 1 Apr - Memorial Races
Sixteen boats took part in the two races that were held on the third Saturday of this Spring's Parhelion Series. Over the past few years the two races of the third Saturday have been designated as Parhelion Memorial Races; an opportunity for us to remember previous competitors who are sadly no longer with us, particularly our old friends Roy Pearce (Rhapsody & Symphony) and Mike Tattersall (Electra). A very pleasant SW'ly breeze and beautiful

Spring Parhelion Sat 25 Mar
The second Saturday of the Spring Parhelion Series provided beautiful blue skies and a gusty NE'ly that increased steadily from around 16 kts to gusts of nearly 30 by the end of the racing. A start line was established at Gleeds and both divisions were sent upwind to Vail Williams and then followed a course that took them down to North Sturbridge, just at the same time as the Panamanian car carrier Horizon Highway,
