This year, Cowes Week racing will be available to watch via the internet as part of a Government project to trial innovative use of 5G. 50 boats will have 360 degree high definition cameras fitted, and each camera will beam back high definition pictures which will be shown on big screens around the town as well as online. All regatta classes will be covered, and there will also be a Spectator App.

QHM Portsmouth has issued updated guidance on recreational boating within Local Notice to Mariners 17-21 here - https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/qhm/portsmouth/local-... Para 4 of LNTM 17-21 includes a link to the latest RYA COVID advice and information. In summary - boating is allowed as exercise. This covers all sailing boats/yachts as long as persons abide by the gathering limits, social distance rules and stay local rules".
