Portsmouth Sailing Club is a vibrant local sailing community that proudly celebrated its Centenary in 2020.
Nestled in the heart of Old Portsmouth, the clubhouse is a historic and characterful building that serves as the centre of a lively social scene enjoyed by both sailors and the wider community.
Throughout the year, the club runs a diverse programme of sailing events, including the Spring and Autumn Parhelion yacht racing series and the Frostbite Series for dinghies and keelboats. Members have access to 60 metres of pontoon and a slipway at the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour, just inside the historic Town Camber. In 2018, the club installed a crane to facilitate the launching of keelboats, RIBs, and tenders more information can be found at portsmouthsc.co.uk/article/73494.
The club manages two boatyards the Boom Yard and Wyllie's Garden. The main yard, the Boom Yard, also provides a perfect setting for summer barbecues, offering stunning views across the Eastern Solent.
