Autumn Parhelion Day 1

The first two races of the Autumn Parhelion Series were held in beautiful sunshine and southerly breeze last Saturday. Race Officer Ricky Hodgeson established a start in the vicinity of racing mark KB Drystack and set courses of around 7 miles that kept the competitors busy between the forts and Gilkicker but avoiding the Imperial Poona YC and Victory Class who were 'racing' just off the Haslar Wall! Familiar boats dominated the front of the fleets with Tinker T and One More Knot gaining firsts in the IRC and NHC fleets respectively.
