Hello again.

This is a pic of Division 1 race 3 start. Oh yes Division 1! I have the great pleasure in reporting today we Split our Division as we had so many boats with different Speeds.

Today we saw 17 yachts racing of recent years that is the most we have seen. Our Archives go back as far as March 2018 and that year was 14 in any one race.

Our Race Officer Phil Warwick had the hard job of setting a course with a light Sea Breeze fighting a light Land Breeze. We started a race in a southerly and after 25 mins only 1 boat had rounded the first mark which was only 200mtr from the start line. This race was abandoned and we waited for the wind to settle.

The wind did come in from the West at about 8-13 kts and a shorter course was laid.

Div 2 Started First Followed by Div 1 Line Honours went to Mistress a Folkboat with Div 1 boats close on her heels what a Cracking day.

A big well done and thank you to our Race Management Team led by Frank Worley.
