Sailing Report #2 - March 2025

This Weekend saw Icicle Races 3 & 4 held in a NE F3-5 wind. Our Committee boat team set a course starting at 92, 89 (port) Z2 (port) through the gate x 3 laps. The race dominated by Born Slippy and Achtung Baby.
Race 1 Achtung Baby led the way first to 89 then Z2 where she suffered a breakage and dropped to second place with Born Slippy taking line honours.
Race 2 The course was adjusted to finish at 13. Again Achtung Baby led the way but on the final reach Born Slippy powered off downwind again taking line honours.
Big thanks to Frank and team, it was real cold out there, well done for some great racing.
Next weekend sees Parhelion 2025 kickoff on Saturday and Icicle conclude on the Sunday.
