Autumn Spithead Update

The first two Saturdays of the Autumn Spithead Series delivered extreme contrasts in weather conditions. Light winds tested everybody's patience on day one but a gentle breeze finally enabled two races to be provided. Results are here - https://www.portsmouthsc.co.uk/autumn-spithead-ser...

The delayed start did allow Mary Siobhan's skipper the opportunity to catch some mackerel for the race officer's tea - see picture!

Unfortunately racing was abandoned on the second Saturday due to both the sea state and winds rapidly building to Force 5 / 6.
