PSC hosted the Contessa 32 fleet for the first event of their 2017 race series over the weekend of 13/14 May. The club ran two races on the Saturday, provided a class meal in the JA Room on Saturday evening and a further race on Sunday.

It was an exceptionally successful weekend; the weather was kind, the racing competitive and fun, and the food and hospitality that PSC members provided on Saturday evening was exceptional.

A picture gallery will be posted soon!

The following email from one of the competitors sums up the Contessa sailors view of the event …..

"Aided in no small measure by the wonderful weather, the view from Muscadet was that this weekend was about as near Inshore Series perfection as is possible.

We wanted to pass on our thoughts though that PSC really did go the extra mile to make us all feel especially welcome at their club.

You really felt they wanted to have us there, nice touches like;

The class flag flying outside

The colour co-ordinated flowers/napkins

Their rib that ferried crew out to and back from Coh Karek

Finishing the Sunday race 3/4 way back to Cowes which was helpful for the majority of the fleet (Lymington clubs take note!)

Piles and piles of excellent food.

All in all, we thought it was splendid and wanted to share our thoughts in the event either of you pass feedback on such arrangements to the Club."
