A team of hardy PSC members defied the wind and rain this weekend to take part in the Rowans Hospice charity ride. This event is now a regular fixture in the PSC calendar. Force 5/6 South Westerlies reduced entries for Saturday's Autumn Series race to just five boats. It was good to see the RAF with Red Arrow (pictured below) back and we welcomed Larissa for the first time. A windward/leeward courses was set from Gleeds towards Gilkicker but the winds meant that the heavily reefed fleet elected not to use any coloured sails and most were keen to return to the harbour after finishing without a second race!
