A Busy Summer At PSC With Lots More To Come!

This has been a busy summer so far and despite the extensive renovation and refurbishment work that has been taking place on the Clubhouse (now almost complete) members have enjoyed a number of social events including a Gin Tasting (thanks Portsmouth Distillery), Cocktail evening and meat raffles. The cruising fraternity have enjoyed rallies to Cherbourg, Swanwick, Island Harbour and Littlehampton and the racing sailors have made an impression at a number of events; special mention to Mike Kerridge for winning the Inter-Club Nab Tower race in Happy Jays, Nik Atkinson for gaining a second in the Taittinger Regatta NHC1 class and the Squib fleet for competing in good numbers at the class National Champs in Torquay and dominating the results at the Combined Harbour Regatta. The Squibs have been racing regularly on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and are looking forward to competing in a more local regattas this summer, notably Cowes Week, the Merrydown, PSC's Auutmn (Parhelion) and Frostbite Series.
