Spring Parhelion Series

The final races of this year's Spring Series will be held this Saturday 28 April. Racing will be followed by a prize giving back in the club. Having lost the Memorial Races due to fog a fortnight ago it is our intention that these will also be competed for on Saturday.

Last Saturday dawned with beautiful sunshine and no wind but after a short delay a cool breeze (and cloud) filled in from the South and the first race was completed in under an hour by the majority of the fleet of 12 boats. Tinker T had an excellent start and was the quickest on the water, taking line honours from Sunshine by just under two minutes. In the second race the leading positions were reversed, Sunshine showed impressive speed finishing over nine minutes ahead of Tinker T.
